Rodong Sinmun Slams Japanese Reactionaries for Harboring Illusion of Realizing Their Old Dream
Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the Self-Defence Forces finished a large-scale project for deploying 34 "Patriots" in 15 military bases.

What is more serious is that Japan is mulling revising the Article 9 of its Constitution disallowing it to go to a war. This is spearheaded by the Japanese chief executive.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes:

The above-mentioned fact goes to prove that the moves of the ultra-right ruling forces of Japan to turn it into a war state have reached their height.

The Japanese ruling forces have trumpeted about "proactive pacifism" in recent years. The deployment of "Patriots" and attempts for the retrogressive revision of the Article 9 of the Constitution are being also pushed forward under the motto of "proactive pacifism".

It goes on:

Viewed from these facts, the true meaning of "proactive pacifism" is militarism and a theory of reinvasion.

It is not exaggeration to say that the present Japanese government is militarist one.

If the Article 9 which requires Japan to give up a war and disallows it to have an army and the right of belligerency is retrogressively revised, Japan will emerge a war state.

It is a matter of time for Japan to appear as such. If one's ambition reaches its height, one is bound to go reckless and if one harbors an excessive wild dream, one is destined to go ruin.

In the past Japan sustained a bitter defeat due to its wild ambition to grab land and hold hegemony over the Asia-Pacific region.

Japan's wild ambition and daydream are getting worse than the past.

The Japanese ruling forces would be well advised to behave themselves, keenly aware that a bottomless pitfall is awaiting them.
