President of Laos Supports Korean People's Just Cause

Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- Army General Pak Yong Sik, minister of the People's Armed Forces and head of the DPRK military delegation on an official goodwill visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, met and had a talk with Choummaly Saynasone, president of Laos and general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, on Monday.

The president recalled that he visited the DPRK in 2011 and met leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

He said that the army and people of the DPRK are achieving signal successes in the national defense, in the struggle to defend socialism and the building of a thriving nation thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Noting that the two countries are supporting each other in the regional and international arenas and closely cooperating in the struggle for defending socialism, he stressed that Laos would support the cause of the Workers' Party of Korea, the government, service personnel and people of the DPRK for achieving the reunification of the country and building a thriving socialist nation.
