The paper carried the contents of the decision of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea on convening the 7th Congress of the WPK.

The paper also carried an article titled "Running counter to the public sentiment leads to self-destruction" assailing the south Korean authorities' unpopular rule.

The article said fierce actions against the introduction of the "state-compiled" history textbook are under way across south Korea.

The south Korean public is demanding the retraction of the above-said introduction, accusing the authorities of seeking to revive "yusin" dictatorship through the above-said introduction, the article noted, and went on:

Those running counter to the public sentiment deserve punishment. The south Korean authorities will inevitably go bankrupt if they persist in the brutal crackdown upon the righteous struggle of the people.
