Unseasonable Weather Observed in November
Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- An unseasonable weather lingers on the DPRK in November.

Frequent rainfalls have been witnessed throughout the country while temperature remaining higher than the average.

An official concerned said that the number of rainy days doubled the average (five days) from November 1 to 20 with 66.6mm of rainfall against the average of 27.4mm.

It rained 77 to 330mm in the east coastal areas of Kangwon and South Hamgyong provinces and northern parts of the west coastal areas and, in particular, 525 mm in Kosong County, Kangwon Province.

In this period, the average temperature stood at 6.7 degrees centigrade against the average (3.7 degrees centigrade).

Meteorologists say warm and damp air, affected by subtropical anticyclone over the Pacific caused by El Nino, stays on whole part of Korea, preventing the inflow of cold air from the north.
