Rodong Sinmun Accuses U.S. of Persisting in Its Hostile Policy towards DPRK
Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in an article assails the U.S. for persisting in its bankrupt and tattered hostile policy towards the DPRK.

The article goes on:

This finds a vivid expression in the facts that the U.S. refuses to disband the "UN Command", keeps its troops in south Korea and does not respond to the DPRK's proposal for concluding a peace treaty with it.

The article cites facts to prove that the "UN Command" is a sheer fabrication as the U.S. illegally cooked up it through high-handed and arbitrary practices from A to Z.

The U.S. ruling quarters have often advertised that they have no hostile policy towards the DPRK. If what it claims is true, it should dissolve the "UN Command", withdraw its troops from south Korea and opt for the conclusion of the peace treaty with the DPRK.

It is unreasonable for the U.S. to cite "threat" from the DPRK.

The DPRK had been a non-nuclear state for decades. Even after emerging a nuclear weapons state, it has no idea of deploying nuclear weapons overseas quite contrary to what the U.S. does.

The U.S. persistently blames the DPRK for its "threat" in a bid to justify and legalize its arms build-up in the Asia-Pacific region and thus hasten the siege to the big powers in the region.

The U.S. ruling forces' acts of staging ceaseless saber rattling to ignite a new war, while keeping the "UN Command" and their forces in south Korea and escalating the tension on the Korean Peninsula, would entail unimaginably disastrous consequences.
