Eduard Knapp, chairman of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il and the exploits of Marshal Kim Jong Un who is creditably carrying forward Kim Jong Il's idea and cause in the run-up to Dec. 17, anniversary of his demise.
