Rodong Sinmun Urges Japan to Make Reparation for Its Past Crimes
Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- This year the world community has urged Japan to seriously reflect on its history woven with massacres, destruction and plunder and make adequate apology and reparation for them as it brought unspeakable misfortune and suffering to the Korean and other Asians in the last century.

Rodong Sinmun Sunday says this in a commentary.

It goes on:

However, Japan is meanly behaving to cover up its blood-stained history, far from apologizing for it.

Japan's past crimes can never be forgotten by the people simply because much water has flown under the bridge. The Japanese reactionaries are sadly mistaken if they calculate that their crime-woven past can be erased from the people's memories.

The Korean people will certainly force Japan to pay a thousand-fold price for the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists despite the passage of such a long time.

Any attempt of Japan to hide its past crimes leads to its isolation and self-destruction.

The Japanese authorities should admit their state responsibility for all crimes against humanity and make reparation to all Koreans in a manner understandable to them, keenly aware that with no gimmick can they embellish or write off their past crimes.
