Rodong Sinmun Urges S. Korean Authorities to Make Fundamental Switchover in Its Confrontation Policy
Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- If the south Korean authorities persistently keep to the road of confrontation with the compatriots in the north while seeking cooperation with outside forces in the anti-DPRK campaign, they may scupper the hard-won atmosphere of improving the relations between the north and south in a moment.

Rodong Sinmun Sunday warns this in an article.

It is absolutely impossible to improve the inter-Korean relations as long as they pursue the policy of antagonizing the compatriots with whom they should join hands for the nation's unity and reunification, the article notes, and goes on:

The confrontation policy of the south Korean authorities will only foster distrust and contradiction between the north and the south.

They should drop their daggers hidden behind their belts before talking about "dialogue" and make a bold decision to make a fundamental switchover in their anti-DPRK confrontation policy.

It is an immediate urgent matter for the Korean nation to mend the relations between the north and the south.

Clear is the DPRK's stand on this issue.

The DPRK will join hands with whoever stands for improving the inter-Korean relations in the spirit of By Our Nation Itself, sincerely desiring reunification.

However, it will never allow but decisively counter those working hard to hurt the nation's destiny and the fate of the inter-Korean relations in collusion with outside forces, pursuing the anti-DPRK confrontation policy contrary to the nation's will and wishes.

The south Korean authorities would be well advised to roll back their anachronistic confrontation policy and sincerely opt for repairing the inter-Korean relations.
