Ivan Draxler, chairman of the Slovak Association for Supporting the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to significantly organize political and cultural events praising Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits on the occasion of the 4th anniversary of his demise.
