The anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners gave origin to the single-minded unity while singing revolutionary songs reflecting the iron faith that only President Kim Il Sung could save the destiny of the nation from distress and lead the Korean revolution to victory.

Many songs produced during the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War, postwar rehabilitation and construction and socialist construction served as gunfire for annihilating enemy and bugle call for advance as they inspired the service personnel and people to dedicate their blood and sweat to the party, the leader and the country.
