Present there were officials concerned, scientists, technicians and teachers of universities.

Its participants heard scores of papers reflecting the scientific and technological issues of preserving, protecting and increasing the environments of scenic spots and natural monuments of the country.

Papers introduced achievements and experience gained in the work to preserve and manage scenic spots including Mt. Paektu and Mt. Kumgang and to protect and increase animals and plants which are recorded as natural monuments.
