U.S. Urged to Respond to Conclusion of Peace Treaty with DPRK
Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Federation of Koreans in the U.S. on November 7 released a commentary urging the U.S. to stop the war moves and respond to the proposal of the DPRK for concluding a peace treaty with the DPRK.

The danger of a war is escalating on the Korean peninsula and the warlike U.S. is watching for a chance of war while staging military drills by mobilizing all types of weapons defying the desire of the Korean nation for peace, the commentary said, and went on:

The only way of preventing a war on the peninsula is to replace the Armistice Agreement by a peace treaty.

The south Korean authorities at the persistent prodding of the U.S. are fanning up anti-north war fever. It is necessary to check the dangerous moves of the present regime of south Korea bringing disaster of war to the nation.

A war may break out by a single bullet-firing on the Korean peninsula fraught with the danger of war. The U.S. which signed the AA should opt for concluding a peace treaty as early as possible.

The U.S. would be well advised to give up the foolish dream of igniting another war on the peninsula and conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK.
