Teachers, Researchers Move into Flats in Mirae Scientists Street
Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- There took place a ceremony of awarding the certificates to use the flats to teachers and researchers in Pyongyang on Tuesday.

Present at the ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, Cha Hui Rim, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee, officials, teachers and researchers of the universities in the city.

Choe Thae Bok said in a speech that the flats which the teachers and researchers were to move into reflected the trust and expectation of supreme leader Kim Jong Un to see the educators and scientists become standard-bearers and pace-setters in adding shine to the country as a world famous sci-tech power and highly civilized nation.

He underscored the need for the educators to bring up more talented persons who would shoulder upon themselves the future of the great Paektusan nation and thus exalt the honor of being career revolutionaries bestowed upon them by the Party.

He called upon the scientists to make positive contributions to building a thriving nation through a dynamic drive for breaking through the cutting edge.

Educators and researchers on Wednesday began moving into their new flats in Mirae Scientists Street fitted with all kinds of modern furniture and having best quality amenities.

Officials, teachers and students congratulated the settlers.
