Punishment of Pro-Japanese Regime Called for in S. Korea
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- Civic and social organizations in South Kyongsang Province, south Korea held a press conference at the building of the provincial office on Oct. 29. They included the Kyongnam Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, Kyongnam Joint Council of Civic and Public Organizations and the Kyongnam Progressive Federation.

They said that at the south Korea-Japan defence ministerial talks Japan, in fact, objected to south Korea's approval of "Self-Defense Forces'" advance into the Korean Peninsula.

This is a humiliating behavior bereft of even elementary self-respect and insult to the majority of the people demanding apology and reparation for Japan's past crimes and withdrawal of its moves for the revival of militarism, they charged.

On Oct. 28 the Pusan Women's Society made public a statement to denounce the authorities for holding humiliating talks with Japan without demanding apology and reparation for its past crimes such as sexual slavery.
