WPK's 70th Anniversary Observed by British Political Party
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- The New Worker, the organ of the New Communist Party of Britain, on Oct. 23 carried special write-ups under the title "The struggle of people's Korea for the freedom and independence" on three whole pages illustrated with photos of President Kim Il Sung in his external activities on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

The DPRK thoroughly embodies the principle of independence, peace and friendship under the leadership of the WPK, the paper said:

The great Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il made tireless efforts for the development of the anti-imperialist national liberation struggle and performed immortal exploits.

They clarified that victory in socialism is the law governing the development of history, one of the greatest feats performed by them.

They also made great contributions to the development of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

Kim Il Sung stressed the need to solve problems arising in the NAM through negotiations on the principle of cohesion and positively helped the people of developing countries in their drive for building a new society.

The WPK, celebrating the 70th founding anniversary, is vigorously advancing at the helm of the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle as the beacon of hope of the world revolution under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un.
