Stop to War Drills Called for in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- Residents and members of civic and social organizations in Kwangju, south Korea held a press conference before the gate of the first combat flying corps of the Air Force in Kwangsan District, Kwangju on Oct. 29 in protest against the anti-DPRK war drills kicked off by the U.S. and south Korean military warmongers. Speakers rapped the U.S. and south Korean military for mulling staging joint air force drills from November 2 to 6. They demanded a stop to war drills escalating military tensions on the Korean Peninsula. |
