The completion of the new production process helps lay a strong foundation for massively mining and dressing graphite found in abundance in the mine area and boosting the production of quality graphite so as to build an economic power and improve the people's living standard.

Present at the ceremony were officials concerned, officials and employees of the mine, and builders and helpers.

Thae Jong Su, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made an address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the new production process.
