Japan's Trick to Evade Redemption of Past Crimes Flailed
Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- A Japanese diplomat at the UN claimed at a recent UN General Assembly session that the issue of the "comfort women" and other past historical issues have been settled, a challenge to the international call for an apology and reparation for the hideous crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists against humanity.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says that we can not but lay bare once again the Japanese reactionaries' impudence and moral vulgarity in the light of the fact that he spoke for the government.

What merits a serious attention is that the Japanese reactionaries are playing a trick to solve everything with money in a bid to evade sincere apology and reparation for the crimes against humanity.

The Japanese reactionaries have resorted to the similar method when they voiced opposition to the registration of the massacre of Chinese in Nanjing as a world heritage.

The Japan chief Cabinet secretary blustered that Tokyo would examine all possibilities including the suspension of the payment of its contribution, claiming that the truth of the document which the Chinese authorities applied to UNESCO for registration has not yet been proved and complaining the international organization is not considerate of Japan actively cooperating with it by sincerely paying its contribution to the body.

The international community is closely looking at the Japanese reactionaries who meanly point accusing fingers at the international body over a petty amount of money when they find themselves in an unfavorable situation even though they abuse its name, when necessary.

Japan's liquidation of the past crimes is a political and moral issue and an international legal issue as it means redressing its crimes committed against humanity.

Japan can never evade its responsibility for those crimes.

Japan will only be forsaken by the international community for evading the redemption of its past wrongs.
