S. Korean Authorities Slammed for Military Provocations against DPRK
Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the south Korean military group introduced U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Ronal Reagan into the waters off Pusan, south Korea under the pretext of participating in a "naval review".

Meanwhile, there took place talks between military bosses of south Korea and Japan in Seoul which discussed on the issue of boosting the U.S.-Japan-south Korea cooperation over the "north's nuclear and missile issue".

Leading papers here Sunday in their commentaries say intolerable are the south Korean authorities' acts of perpetrating military provocations against the dialogue partner in league with foreign forces at a time when they should opt for defusing tension and paving the way of peace and cooperation by implementing the north-south agreement.

These are grave military provocations deliberately aggravating the situation on the Korean Peninsula while chilling the atmosphere of dialogue and the process for improving the relations between the north and the south, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on:

If the south Korean authorities have a sincere willingness to implement the north-south agreement and push forward dialogue and improved relations, they should stop such military provocations as hurting fellow countrymen in the north in league with foreign forces at this time.

Their persistent moves are dangerous acts of pushing the inter-Korean relations to catastrophe again.

The reality clearly proves that they have only a sinister intention to escalate the confrontation with the north at any cost by depending on foreign forces, in disregard of the detente and improved relations between the north and the south.

Minju Joson says if they ignite a war of aggression in collusion with foreign forces, turning their faces away from dialogue and cooperation with fellow countrymen, the DPRK will have no option but to resolutely counter them by mobilizing all physical means.
