The Japanese Defence minister on Oct. 20 said at the talks between defense ministers that it does not necessarily need the consent of south Korea when the "Self-Defence Forces" advance into north Korea, the statement recalled.

The minister openly revealed the SDF's attack on the peninsula, a result of south Korea's humiliating diplomacy and military policy by which it has supported Japan's exercise of the "right to collective self-defence," the statement said, and went on:

The SDF's advance into the peninsula, led by the U.S. forces, under the pretext of "rear support" and "protection of civilians" is little short of aiming to put the fate of the peninsula under the control of the U.S. and Japan.

Stressing the need to resolutely check the SDF's advance into the peninsula, the statement said, strongly denouncing the present regime's sycophantic and traitorous policy of cooperating with Japan in its moves for reinvasion in the wake of introducing textbooks justifying Japan's history of aggression.
