Present there from the DPRK side were Lieutenant General Ryom Chol Song and generals and officers of the KPA and from the Vietnamese side were members of the delegation of political officials of the Vietnam People's Army headed by Deputy Head of its General Political Department Nguyen Trong Nghia, and Le Duy Long, military attache of the Vietnamese embassy here.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of further developing the friendly relations between the armies of the two countries and issues of mutual concern.

On the same day, the General Political Bureau of the KPA gave a reception in honor of the delegation of political officials of the Vietnam People's Army.
