S. Korean Paper Slams Chief Executive for Her Absurd Remarks
Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet paper Voice of People on October 14 in an editorial blasted the absurd remarks of the south Korean chief executive on the issue of the history textbook.

The editorial said the chief executive brought together chief secretaries of Chongwadae and clarified before them her stand on using the "state-compiled history textbook" but her utterances were peppered with so sheer sophism and self-righteous jargons that it is hard to find proper words to comment on them.

It is an arrogant and irresponsible attitude for the chief executive to claim that a partisan strife is sparked by someone though she is responsible for conflict and dispute, the editorial said.

It lashed out at her for depicting the May 16 military coup "as May revolution which inherited the April 19 popular uprising" and painting the Park Chung-Hee regime as "a revolutionary regime."
