Guyanese President Stresses Need to Boost Relations with DPRK
Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Pak Chang Yul, DPRK ambassador to Guyana, presented his credentials to Guyanese President David Arthur Granger on October 8.

The Guyanese president recalled with deep emotion that President Kim Il Sung separately received first President Arthur Chung and President Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham and said precious words to them.

The Guyanese and Korean peoples are brothers who have steadily developed the relations of friendship and cooperation and Guyana fully supports the struggle of the DPRK government and people to independently and peacefully reunify the country, he said, adding it is the steadfast stand of himself and the Guyanese government to develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries in various fields.

He sincerely wished supreme leader of the Korean people Kim Jong Un good health and big success in his noble work of leading the Korean people's struggle for socialism against imperialism.
