Joint Art Performance Goes on
Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- A joint art performance of the State Merited Chorus and the Moranbong Band in celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea is going on at Ryugyong Jong Ju Yong Gymnasium before full house every day.

The number of the audience reached tens of thousands in a few days after its start.

The performance began with the playing of the national anthem. Put on the stage were diverse numbers including mixed chorus and male chorus "Mother's Birthday," male chorus "Shine, the Name of the Sun," instrumental music and song "I Love You" and orchestral music "Pyongyang Is Best."

The performers made an impressive representation of the exploits President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed by founding the Juche-oriented revolutionary party and bringing about epoch-making changes and prosperity.

Also staged were numbers teaching truth that the people's worthy life, happiness and future are guaranteed by the mother party serving the people.

The audience was mesmerized by female chorus "Our Comrade Kim Jong Un" and "We Have Missed You," female duet and pangchang "It Is My Happiness to Long to See You" and female solo "Loving Care for Our Destiny" presented by the Moranbong Band as they truthfully represented the feelings of all the service personnel and people who trust and follow Kim Jong Un as the protector of their destiny.

The State Merited Chorus staged male quintet and chorus "Let's Not Abandon Revolutionary Faith Though We May Die," male chorus "We Will Go to Mt. Paektu," female chorus "We Will Follow Our Party Forever" and other numbers, deeply impressing the audience.

The performance goes on.
