Greetings to Kim Jong Un from Lao Party Leader
Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, received a message of greeting from Choummaly Saynasone, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, on Oct. 6.

In the message he extended warm and fraternal congratulations and best wishes to Kim Jong Un and the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and all its members and the Korean people on behalf of the C.C., the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and all its members and the Lao people and on his own behalf on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the WPK.

Under the wise guidance of the great leaders of the Korean people President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, and the WPK headed by Kim Jong Un, the successor to their great revolutionary cause, over the past seven decades, the fraternal Korean people have waged a valiant and dynamic struggle to reliably defend the gains of revolution from imperialism and registered steady great achievements in all works to implement the party's lines, ensure political stability, develop economy and improve the people's living standard true to the Juche idea and the Songun line, the message said.

Sincerely congratulating the fraternal Korean people on their great achievements made in the past period, the Lao People's Revolutionary Party hopes that the WPK and the fraternal Korean people will make fresh greater successes in the efforts to accomplish the cause of defending the country and building rich and powerful socialist Korea and achieve the peaceful reunification of the country under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un, it noted.

It also hoped that the traditional relations of friendship between the two parties, states and peoples would grow stronger for the sake of regional and global peace, friendship and cooperation.

It wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and great success in his noble work.
