Our party has successfully implemented the line of attaching importance to arms and military affairs for several decades, holding President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, invincible and iron-willed commanders, in high esteem.

Korea, once a weak nation mercilessly trampled down amid big powers' fierce scramble for influence, made a breakthrough in the hegemonic and unfair international political order and emerged a military power and nuclear weapons state of the world, guaranteeing the destiny and prosperity of the nation forever. This is the great exploit which could be performed only by the WPK advancing under the banner of great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

The 70-year history and exploits of the WPK serve as a model of the era which no other party can neither imitate nor create, an ever-lasting source of the prosperity of socialist Korea and eternal cornerstone for the victory of the cause of global independence.
