Talks between Vice-President of DPRK SPA Presidium, Vice-President of Council of State of Cuba Held

Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- Talks between Yang Hyong Sop, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the DPRK, and Salvador Antonio Valdes Mesa, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and vice-president of the Council of State of Cuba, took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Friday.

Present there from the DPRK's side were Ri Yong Chol, vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, and Sin Hong Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and from the opposite side were members of the party and government delegation of the Republic of Cuba.

Discussed at the talks discussed the issue of further developing the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.
