Russia's concern and criticism of the human rights abuses in the U.S. and the West is a reflection of the world mindset, not just an opinion of the individual country, says Minju Joson in a commentary Monday.

It goes on:

Inhumanitarian disasters, serious international issues, are more or less attributable to the tentacles of the U.S.

Some EU countries also played a role in cruelly killing a lot of people and producing a large number of refugees in the Mideast and African region by zealously following the U.S. "war on terrorism".

Even at this moment, the U.S. and some EU countries are punishing without trials terrorist suspects and taking lives of a number of innocent civilians of sovereign countries by flying drones there.

They, styling themselves "human rights judges", are pointing accusing fingers at other countries in the international arena, feigning ignorance of their own wrongs.

The rhetoric of "human rights" touted by the U.S. and EU countries is a shameless act to evade international criticism of their human rights abuses and responsibility for them.

They had better admit their own human rights abuses and mind their own business before finding fault with others.
