Rodong Sinmun Accuses Japanese Reactionaries of Their Moves to Write off Japan's Crime-Woven History
Pyongyang, October 5 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the Japanese Foreign Ministry deleted the column "History problem" from its website and newly opened and made public the column "Question and answer concerning history problem", claiming it reflects the contents of Abe's "statement" released on the lapse of 70 years since the defeat of the Japanese imperialists.

It said that the new contents of the column are based not only on Abe's statement but also on Murayama's statement and the understanding of government's stand for the history problem is expected to get deeper.

Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a commentary in this regard:

This goes to clearly prove that what extreme phase the Japanese reactionaries have reached in their impudent and shameless moves to write off their crime-woven history.

Tampering with history has become a state policy of Japan.

The Japanese imperialists' aggression against Korea and their 40 odd year-long colonial rule over it, the most brutal and cruel in the world history, are still lashing the world people into great fury.

It is as clear as noonday why the Japanese reactionaries are making so desperate efforts to embellish their past crimes.

Militarist Japan who worked hard to become "leader of the east" in the last century is going reckless, keen to revive a war state.

The Japanese reactionaries are the impudent, cunning and cruel Samurais who are little short of the Japanese imperialist aggressors in the past.

The Korean people greatly angered by the Japanese reactionaries' moves to distort the history will surely force them to pay a thousand-fold dearer price for the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists no matter how much water flows under the bridge.
