S. Korean Chief Executive Accused of Her Invectives against DPRK
Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- At the recent 70th Session of the UN General Assembly, the south Korean chief executive asserted "dismantlement of the north's nukes is the top priority task for building a world without nuclear weapons" and "the north's additional provocation is aimed at chilling the atmosphere of north-south dialogue and hamstringing the efforts of the countries concerned with the six-party talks to resume dialogue for denuclearization". She even talked rubbish that "the north should strive to help its inhabitants overcome hardships through reform and opening instead of resorting to additional provocation".

She even begged for "cooperation" with her regime in its moves to do harm to the compatriots in the north, not content with hurting its dignity and social system, talking about "demand of the international community" and urging "improvement of human rights."

Commenting on this, Minju Joson Thursday says:

What she uttered is an outright provocation against the dialogue partner and a confrontational scenario for derailing the hard-won phase of stability between the north and the south. This is lashing all Koreans into great fury.

Dialogue can by no means be a veil for covering up the ulterior design to escalate confrontation.

The south Korean authorities are keen on escalating confrontation with the compatriots in the north while paying lip-service to "dialogue". Quite clear is what catastrophic consequence will be entailed by this double-dealing attitude.

No wonder, the public at home and abroad is getting vocal expressing concern over the fact that the confrontational racket being kicked up by the south Korean authorities during their foreign junkets may completely derail dialogue.

The DPRK has warned the south Korean regime against the above-said behavior.

It is the stand of the DPRK that it would no longer show leniency to those desperately working to do harm to the compatriots.

If the south Korean regime has an iota of sense and intention to mend the north-south relations, it should refrain from letting loose such provocative invectives and make an apology to the entire nation for recklessly insulting the compatriots, though belatedly.
