Professorship was awarded to Kim Sang Mun, Kim Kang and Yun Sun Chol, heads of departments of Kim Il Sung University, Ra Ju Hyon, head of a department of Kim Chaek University of Technology, Ri Pyong Je, researcher at the Academy of Medical Science, Kim In Suk, head of a department of Wonsan Jong Jun Thaek University of Economics, and other persons.

Doctorate was awarded to So Kyong Nam, head of a department of Kim Il Sung Higher Party School, Kim Su Chol, head of a department of Kim Il Sung University, Choe Kwang Ryong, dean of a faculty of Kim Chaek University of Technology, Kim Pok Gi, teacher at the University of National Economy, Rim Yong Nam, designer at the Paektusan Architectural Institute, and others and associate professorship to 186 persons.

The awarding ceremony took place at the People's Palace of Culture on Wednesday.
