Animals on Increase in Central Zoo

Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- Animals are on the increase in the Central Zoo of the DPRK, which is being spruced up on an expansion basis.

This year alone, over 370 animals of 90 species have been brought to the zoo, which include newcomers of more than 50 species like Hyaena striata, Taurotragus oryx and Cygnus olor.

Meanwhile, at least 400 animals of 100 species have been reproduced in the zoo.
