The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on September 8 carried an article titled "President Kim Il Sung and DPRK" illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung.

The paper said that the development history of the DPRK shining as a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defence would be unthinkable without the nation-building exploit performed by the President.

It noted that the President who liberated the country and led the anti-imperialist and anti-U.S. struggle to a victory consolidated the military foundation of the DPRK with his Songun revolutionary leadership.

It stressed that the President's nation-building cause has been successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un who succeeded Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il.

The Senegalese paper Le Populaire on September 9 carried an article illustrated with a photo of the President.

Referring to the reasons of invincibility of socialist Korea, it said that the DPRK holds the great leader in high esteem and has a distinguished guiding idea and people regarding socialism as their lifeblood.
