The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism－Kimjongilism posted an article on its website saying that Kim Jong Suk fully demonstrated her outstanding military wisdom and stratagem, matchless pluck and courage and marksmanship worthy of a crack shot during the days of the arduous anti-Japanese armed struggle.

The article went on:

Kim Jong Suk protected President Kim Il Sung from danger as a human bullet shield in many battles fought against Japanese imperialists.

After the liberation of the country she remained intensely loyal to the President.

Even under the complicated situation right after the country's liberation she as his bodyguard firmly protected his personal safety.

So she is always remembered by the Korean people as an incarnation guarding the leader at the risk of her life.

The Guinean Domestic and International Broadcasting Services praised her feats under the title "Shining Life".
