Professors of Yonsei University in a statement on Sept. 22 denounced the authorities for denying the academic circle's interpretation of the history and forcing their interpretation of it, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

Meanwhile, researchers for law including professors of the postgraduate course of Aju University held a press conference on Sept. 21 at which they published a declaration opposing the authorities' bid to make their history textbook a state one.
