Japan Slammed for Trying to Make Korean Peninsula Theatre of War

| Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- At least 120 national organizations of south Korea including the Council for the Peaceful Unification of Tangun's Nation held a press conference on Sept. 21 at which they demanded the cancellation of Japan's "security bills", according to CBS of south Korea. Speakers said that Japan is becoming ever more pronounced in its moves for reviving militarism, far from making an apology for its past crimes. The Korean Peninsula is the area of the biggest possibility for putting the "right to collective self-defense" into practice, they said, demanding Japan repeal the dangerous law at once. They bitterly lambasted Japan for trying to make the Korean Peninsula a theatre of war and the U.S. for instigating such move. |
