War Maneuvers in S. Korea

Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- The Third Marine Division of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces and the Second Marine Division of south Korea have staged war drills to invade the DPRK in the forefront area of Kyonggi Province on Sept. 7, according to the south Korean internet paper Newsis.

The warmongers who had been keen on guerrilla training to get accustomed to mountain terrain of the Korean Peninsula at the training ground in Kimpho till Sept. 11 kicked off such drills as combat in urban area and individual firepower shooting from Sept. 13.

Timed to coincide with this, artillery forces under the Marine Corps were hell-bent on a drill for position occupation, situation drill and shelling drill in Phaju.

Such play with fire is dangerous war frenzy hurting the atmosphere of defusing tension on the Korean Peninsula and improving the north-south relations.
