S. Korean Juveniles Driven into Crimes and Suicides
Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- The south Korean paper Herald Economy on Sept. 12 said recently a 15 year old secondary schoolboy intentionally exploded a gas cylinder in a classroom and photographed the whole course of the crime before posting it on a website.

The unreasonable education policy of the authorities and regular violence at schools cause to juveniles unbearable pain, driving them into crimes and suicides, it charged.

100-200 schoolchildren commit suicides in south Korea every year.

The number of juvenile suicides reached 1 000 for seven years up to last year from 2008, according to even data announced by the south Korean authorities. 118 juveniles committed suicides last year and 61 as of August this year.
