British Organizations Call for Opposing Broadcasting Plan against DPRK
Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK released a joint appeal on September 9 as regards the BBC's decision to start short-wave radio broadcasting against the DPRK.

The appeal said:

It is a well-known fact that the BBC acts as a spokesman of the British information organ.

Recently the BBC decided to make short-wave radio broadcasting against the DPRK.

This means that the British imperialists join in the psychological warfare of the U.S. imperialists and south Korean authorities and shows that the nature of the British ruling class has not changed as it is a wanton infringement upon the sovereignty of the DPRK.

The BBC is notorious for taking the lead in toppling the socialist systems in the former Soviet Union and eastern European countries in the period of the Cold War.

It is shameful that the BBC spends money for the plan reminiscent of that in the period of the Cold War at a time when the people are suffering from the joblessness and poverty by the government's austerity policy and the broadcasting corporation itself is reducing its own appropriation.

The organizations called on all the British political parties and organizations to come out in the movement against the said plan.
