U.S. Forces' Presence in S. Korea Denounced by Romanian Body
Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- The Romanian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea posted on its website The Juche Idea an article titled "U.S. forces' presence in south Korea obstructive to peace and reunification on Korean Peninsula" on Sept. 10.

It is 70 years since the U.S. occupied south Korea, the article said, and went on:

The U.S. forces' presence in south Korea under the helmet of "UN Forces" is the very source of disturbing peace on the Korean Peninsula, the biggest hotspot in the world.

The U.S. is prodding the south Korean authorities into escalating confrontation between compatriots and igniting a new war in a bid to stifle the DPRK, that turned into a socialist power of Juche, at any cost.

It should pay heed to voices of the peace-loving forces of the world, give up its anachronistic moves to stifle the DPRK, immediately withdraw all the aggression forces deployed in the Korean Peninsula and its vicinity and take hands off the peninsula.

It should neither underestimate the might of the Korean people possessing powerful nuclear deterrence nor forget the lesson it drew from the Korean War.
