The Japanese authorities hurled many gangsters into fascist action against the Chongryon organization in Hokkaido and Koreans in Japan under the pretext of "fraud case", an unpardonable provocation and hideous crime against the DPRK and Chongryon, the statement said, and went on:

It is also a revelation of their intention to tarnish the image of Chongryon and seek a pretext for cracking down on it.

With no lies and fabrications can the Japanese authorities block the righteous and patriotic activities of Chongryon.

If they truly want improved relations between the DPRK and Japan, they should stop at once the reckless politically-motivated suppression of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan and human rights abuses against them and immediately set free the unreasonably arrested Koreans in Japan.
