Rodong Sinmun Urges Japan to Roll Back Security Bills
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- It has been disclosed that Japan had already worked out internal data on operation of a new unit of the "Self-Defense Forces" on the premise of adoption of security bills.

It was reported that the order was issued by the minister of Defense and it was carried out by the joint chiefs of staff responsible for all operations of the Ground, Maritime and Air "Self-Defense Forces".

Rodong Sinmun Friday in a commentary says in this regard:

The Ministry of Defense concluded in advance that the security bills would become a law before they pass through both houses, and worked out internal data on new operation tasks of the SDF related to them, something rare to be seen in Japan's history after its defeat in the war.

Former politicians, opposition parties and broad segments of people in Japan have denounced the bills as ones for war since the government decided on the bills.

The Japanese reactionary ruling quarters should pay heed to the angry voices of people from all walks of life.

Justice and truth do not belong to a handful of ruling quarters keen to realize their militarist design but to the broad masses of people including the mothers not wishing their children to become cannon fodder for reinvasion and young people hoping to bring into bloom their dreams in a peaceful environment free from war.

People's mindset represents the will of Heaven.

The Japanese reactionaries are rushing headlong into militarization and overseas expansion, going against the people's mindset, an act of precipitating their self-ruin.

If they truly want to make an international contribution to global peace and security, they should retract the security bills at once. If they think about the defense of Japan, they should immediately stop their moves for militarization.
