Pyongyang Folklore Park Draws Many Visitors
Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Folklore Park at the foot of Mt. Taesong has drawn over 1.17 million service personnel of the Korean People's Army, people from all walks of life and youths and students for the three years since its establishment.

The park consists of the area for history education, the one for historical relics and the one for contemporary times, etc.

Structures in the park represent the long history of the Korean nation from the primitive times to the contemporary times.

Among them are miniatures of Mt. Paektu, Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp, the Tower of the Juche Idea, the Art of Triumph, the Grand People's Study House, the Chollima Statue, the Mausoleum of King Tangun, the Mausoleum of King Tongmyong and the Mausoleum of King Wang Kon.

Various dwelling houses dating back to the Feudal Joson Dynasty serve visitors Pyongyang cold noodle, tanggogi soup and mung-bean pancake.
