Deployment of THAAD and Japan's Exercise of "Right to Collective Self-Defense" Opposed in S. Korea

Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification in south Korea launched a 50-day action for peace in 50 cities opposing the U.S. THAAD deployment in south Korea and Japan's exercise of the "right to collective self-defense."

There was a press conference at the plaza before Mokpho Railway Station on Sept. 5 to kick off the action.

THAAD is another obstacle disturbing peace and reunification on the Korean Peninsula, the organization asserted, calling for checking its deployment.

Abe's statement denying the past war of aggression and colonial rule is little short of a war declaration to exercise the "right to collective self-defense" and launch reinvasion, it noted.
