Art Performances Given to Mark DPRK's Birthday
Pyongyang September 9 (KCNA) -- Performances were given in Pyongyang and local areas to celebrate the 67th birthday of the DPRK.

The revolutionary drama "A Letter from a Daughter" was given at the National Theatre.

The National Circus gave a circus at the Pyongyang Circus Theater.

Such colorful numbers as physical acrobatics "Double Swing Flight" pleased working people, youths and schoolchildren.

Artistes of the North Phyongan Provincial Art Troupe and the Provincial Art Squad and teachers and students of the universities in the province gave a performance at the Provincial Art Theater.

In such numbers as female small chorus "Mine Is Always the Country of the Leader" and female solo "Tell, O Road of Songun", the performers presented the people's boundless reverence for President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Teachers and students of the February 16 Kanggye College of Arts put on the stage a performance "Our Country Shines under the Leadership of Marshal".

Artistes in North Hwanghae and North Hamgyong provinces presented the appearance of the country and happy future, boosting the revolutionary enthusiasm and fighting spirit of the working people.

Performances given across the country showed well the firm will of the Korean people to build the most powerful country and people's paradise on this land.
