Wreaths Laid before Martyrs' Cemeteries
Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery Wednesday, the 67th birthday of the DPRK.

Wreaths sent by Marshal Kim Jong Un were seen standing before the wreath-laying stands of the cemeteries.

Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju and other senior officials of the party, state and army, officials of the party, armed forces and power bodies, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces and working people in the city took part in the wreath-laying ceremonies.

Wreaths were placed before the wreath-laying stand of the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong in the joint name of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet. A wreath was laid before the wreath-laying stand of the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in the joint name of the C.C., the WPK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet. A wreath in the joint name of the C.C., the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the National Defence Commission was placed before the wreath-laying stand "Soul of Heroes" of the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery.

Laid there were wreaths in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, scientific, educational, public health, literary and arts and media institutions, and party and power bodies, institutions, factories and farms in the city.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of martyrs.
