Brazilian Ambassador Gives Reception
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Brazilian Ambassador to the DPRK Roberto Colin gave a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club Monday on the occasion of the 193rd anniversary of the independence of Brazil.

Present there on invitation were Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong, Pak Kun Gwang, vice department director of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Kwang Gun, vice-minister of External Economic Relations, So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who doubles as chairman of the DPRK-Brazil Friendship and Cultural Association, officials concerned, foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations here.

The Brazilian ambassador in his speech reiterated the stand of the Brazilian government to develop the bilateral relations and cooperation with the DPRK.

He hoped that the DPRK would achieve great success in the scio-economic development under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The DPRK foreign minister in his speech said that the Brazilian government and people have achieved economic stability and sustainable development and expanded foreign relations under the leadership of President Dilma Vana Rousseff.

The DPRK government will as ever set store by the friendly and cooperative relations with Brazil and make positive efforts to boost the bilateral relations in various fields, he noted.
