Foreign Crewmen Meet
Chongjin, September 7 (KCNA) -- A meeting of foreign crewmen took place at Chongjin Port Monday in celebration of the 67th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Its participants laid bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Chongjin City, North Hamgyong Province and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were the captain and crewmen of Niue-flagged ship Hao Fan 2.

Speakers referred to the fact that Kim Il Sung, who embarked on the road of revolution in his early years and gained precious experience of building people's power in the crucible of anti-Japanese revolution, founded the DPRK after the liberation of Korea, successfully achieving the historic cause of building a country.

The high international prestige and invincible might of the DPRK and the proud achievements it made in the revolution and construction are associated with the august names of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, they noted, adding:

The DPRK is demonstrating its dignity to the full as a socialist power thanks to the wise guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of the preceding leaders.

They expressed belief that only victory and glory will always be in store for the Korean people led by Kim Jong Un.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
