Displayed there were photos documenting the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed were books and photos introducing the glorious course covered by the DPRK.

Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, said in his speech that the President embarked on the road of revolution in his early years, fathered the Juche idea, led the great anti-Japanese war to victory and achieved the historic cause of the country's liberation.

He went on:

The President turned the DPRK into the powerful socialist state centered on the popular masses.

The DPRK which followed the victorious road under the leadership of the President and Kim Jong Il is advancing more vigorously thanks to Kim Jong Un.

Jon Arni Halldorsson, general secretary of the Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society, said that the founding of the DPRK was a historic event which brought about the fundamental turning point for carving out the destiny of the Korean people.

Jacech Poniewierski, first vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Poland-Korea Association, and other figures highly praised the President as the father of the country and the founder of socialist Korea.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting held in Denmark.
