Cuban State Delegation Gives Reception
Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- A state delegation of the Republic of Cuba gave a reception on Sunday as regards the winding up of its visit to the DPRK.

Present there on invitation were Yang Hyong Sop, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission who doubles as chairman of the Korean Committee for Solidarity with Cuba, Pak Kun Gwang, vice department director of the C.C., WPK, Sin Hong Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Ri Kwang Gun, vice-minister of External Economic Relations, So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, and others.

Present there were a state delegation of the Republic of Cuba headed by Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, first vice-president of the Council of State and first vice-president of the Council of Ministers of Cuba, and staff members of the Cuban embassy here.

Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez said that visiting various places, we could witness the indomitable struggle of the Korean people achieving good successes under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

He noted that the visit of the delegation marked an occasion in dynamically developing bilateral relations in the social, political and economic fields.

Yang Hyong Sop said that the Korean people are sincerely rejoiced over the achievements made by the Cuban people in the drive to defend the dignity and sovereignty of the country and the gains of socialism.

He expressed belief that the visit to the DPRK by the state delegation of the Republic of Cuba would encourage the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries favorably developing amid the particular attention of Marshal Kim Jong Un and Comrade Raul Castro Ruz.
